With respect to .las files, how can I export a point cloud graphic to a .las file?

For instance, here I am using the 'extract forest metrics..' toolbox and I want to write this output(figure) as a spatial layer so I can then use it in CloudCompare. Would love some suggestions as to how I could export this graphic as a .las/.laz file!
