How to encode with BCH 8-PSK, 8-QAM modulated signals ?

the following code generates error
N = 255; K = 239; m = 8;
gp = bchgenpoly(N,K);
enc = comm.BCHEncoder(N,K,gp);
dec = comm.BCHDecoder(N,K,gp);
msgLength = 10 * enc.ShortMessageLength;
data = randi([0 m-1],msgLength,1);
dataEnc = enc(data);
Error using BCHEncoder
Input values must be binary (0 or 1).

Hi Jacek Wronski,
It is my understanding that you are working on different types of modulation schemes and wants to know how to encode BCH code with them. The input values to the system object created using the comm.BCHEncoder’ function should be a binary value.
data = randi([0 1], msgLength , 1);
dataEnc = enc(data);
After encoding, use the modulation scheme(QAM) by setting the Name-Value Argument ‘InputType’ to ‘bit’ as shown in the below code to modulate the input signal.
y = qammod(dataEnc,M,'bin','InputType','bit');
Please refer the below documentations for further details about QAM modulation and PSK modulation.
Please refer the below documentation for further details more information about ‘comm.BCHEncoder function.
