Facing difficulty while executing 'OFDM Transmit and Receive Using Analog Devices AD9361/AD9364' example provided by MATLAB on ZC706 and FMCOMMS5.

I am working on 'OFDM Transmit and Receive Using Analog Devices AD9361/AD9364' example provided by MATLAB, I am not able to figure out, whether we have to build the software interface model and Zynq-7000 IIO Radio Software Interface Library, generated in Step 4.2 of HDL workflow advisor. If we have to, then please guide which one and how should we proceed.

I am also facing problem in connection to Xilinx ZYNQ-7000, IIO based radio through simulink, following error displays: Error occurred while executing External Mode MEX-file 'ext_comm':, when I run the software interface model(which I build) in Monitor and Tune Mode.

Hi Vedansh,

I assume that you are referring to the "OFDM Transmit and Receive Using Analog Devices AD9361/AD9364" example. Step 4.2 generates a software interface library and a template software interface model. You might have to modify your template as per your requirement. An example of the modified template is shown in OFDM Software Interface Model after "Generate and Load Bitstream" section. So you just need to update the template and need to do the HDL workflow for the interface model.

This error indicates that communication was interrupted between the host and target, or that communication was never started at all. Make sure you have a propoer connection to the evaluation board.
