Unable to connect Parrot drone to MAC OS Monterey (version 12) and Ventura (version 13)

I am using Non-FPV Parrot Mambo and Rolling spider drone to develop a model in MATLAB-Simulink. I updated the MAC OS to Monterey(version 12) and Ventura (version 13) and was unable to connect to the Parrot Mambo and Rolling spider.

Earlier I am able to connect with the drone from MAC and run the setup screen to set up the hardware. Currently, with an updated MAC OS, the setup screen fails to configure the drone, and due to this, I am unable to flash the MATLAB-Simulink model to the hardware.

Hi,

The Bluetooth PAN feature has been deprecated by Apple in MAC OS Monterey and Ventura. Since the Bluetooth PAN feature is deprecated in these versions, the Bluetooth connection to Parrot minidrones fails in MAC OS Monterey and Ventura.

To connect Parrot minidrones in mac, users need to use the older MAC OS versions <11 and before> having Bluetooth PAN feature. Updating MAC OS to Monterey and Ventura will fail Parrot HW connection to the MAC system and users will be unable to establish communication with Parrot minidrone for interaction to flash the Firmware and model to the hardware.

There is no workaround at the moment for this issue in MAC OS Monterey and Ventura.
