Account migration to a new organization

Soon i will change my organization so i will need to migrate matlab to my new one.

This implies:

- a change in the email/account

- a change in the license

I was wondering if and how i could port all my account community status (points, cody, answers, questions, ...) to the new one.

I think you can just change the email address on your MathWorks account and then whoever is responsible for your new organization's license can add your account to it.

If i change the email, let's say right know, would my current license (old organization) suffer any complication?

What i mean is, is the license strictly bound to the email or can i freely changed it?

licenses are bound to matlab central account not to email. That said, in the case of academic licensing and Campus-Wide licensing (previously Total Academic Headcount) then in some cases eligibility is determined by email address.

that may be an issue since my current organization is my university and the new one will be where i'll start working.
