Can T-Junction (IL) be used to merge 2 pipe flows?

I have fluid being pumped from 2 tanks into 1 holding tank, I was wondering if the 2 pipe flows from the individual tanks can be combined into 1 pipe flow using T-Junction (IL) before filling the holding pump?

Yes, sure, although it's not necessary if you just want to merge two flows. You may just connect both B ports to the next component (pump?). The T-Junction is designed to model the loss when you do have a T-junction. Simple connecting the port provides zero loss though.
