How to model batch distillation application using Matlab and Simulink

15 visualizzazioni (ultimi 30 giorni)
Hello
I want to model batch distillation process of a mixture having 13 compoenent. The column is having 18 plates and constant molar overflow, constant boil up rate, constant plate hold up, constant reflux ratio, constant condesnser hold up, partial reboiler, total condenser and negligible vapor hold up. I have developed the bubble point calculation model for the plate temperature, and eveloped the model for each and every plate and component. But when running the model, it gives higher temperatures in top plate which is not correct. In a distillation column plate temperature should be decreased from bottom(reboiler) to top plate. I have find initial reboiler temperature as 447.56 C by my block calculation and verify it with manual calculation. therefore, that block flow should be correct. But i cannot find why the model give me wrong answers. ( i have used only 3 component to calculate bubble point)
following block is for temperature finding,
following block is for distillation column model for 3 components and 1 plate with condeser and reboiler
so here i am getting higher temperature in top plate and lower on in reboiler which should be in otherise.
please help me to rsolve this problem. i am running out of time to submita kind of special assignment
