How can I format plot and symbol lines and colors in Simbiology Model Analyzer

9 visualizzazioni (ultimi 30 giorni)
Use scenario
1) Simulate PK model with push dose, with all states except concentration unchecked.
2) Check "Keep Results from each run"
3) Simulate PK model using infusion dose (using a different dose and one alternate variant).
4) Drag and drop preloaded push and infusion data onto plot
At this point I want the infusion-related stuff (sim and data) to be red, and the push to be blue, and I want the sims to be solid and dashed lines, and the data to be squares and asterisks.
I can select "Slice by" and select color or line-style, but the changes I make to either when selecting one (e.g. color) disappear if I try to select the other (e.g. line style).
These are really, really easy and basic things. Yet I can't figure out how to do them. I could export the plot and reformat but that kind of defeats the purpose of the interactive Model Analyzer tool, correct? What am I missing? Thanks!
PS The frustrating thing is that I was able to do this recently, and I cannot recreate the workflow needed.
I want this in Model Analyzer. The two traces are different sims (push and infusion).

Hi, Jim,
Thanks for your feedback. The SimBiology Model Analyzer currently only allows a user to apply a single visual channel (i..e, color, linestyle, etc.) for a given slicing dimension (response, group, scan parameter, covariate variable, etc.). Combining visual channels and allowing more control of plot formatting from within the Model Analyzer are both on our radar as future enhancements.
You mention that you were able to get the plot you wanted recently. One workaround currently available in the Model Analyzer would be to use response sets- put the responses that you want in the same color in the same set. You can then use linestyle as the visual channel for response and color as the visual channel for response set. In your example, put the infusion responses (sim & data) in one response set, and the push responses in another response set, and use color for the "Sets" channel. You can find an example here in the documentation: Customize Data Visualization.
Please reach out if you have further questions or concerns.
Best,
Priya

Priya,
Thanks. What is maddening to me is that I actually had what I wanted and deleted it to clean up my project. Your response explains how I could do this (but I don't think that's how I did it!). In any case, I'll look at the reference you sent.
Great response, thanks.
Jim
