Launch MATLAB from my user account for Windows 11
Mostra commenti meno recenti
I recently uploaded the latest version of MATLAB to my user account on a Microsoft Surface Pro 4, Win 11.
Previously I had uploaded MATLAB on the other users account and used their account to launch MATLAB (there are only two users for this machine).
However, this time I uploaded MATLAB to my new account. However, when I would activate the license, and then launch MATLAB from my account, it would always ask for the other user's pin number or account password and reactivate the license but MATLAB would never launch, i.e., an infinite loop.
I contacted MATLAB help and they indicated I should update my user profile on my new account but that did not work.
I discovered only way to launch MATLAB from my account was to launch it as an administrator using the pin of the other user (they are the administrator).

This is happening because of the installation process. When you installed the software, it was for the access of the admin only and hence other users are not able to run it. For now, running it as an admin would solve your problem, but I would recommend reinstalling the software such that it is accessible to all the users in your computer.
