Check license manager status from client host (Linux)

Due to some recent issues with my company's enterprise MLM server, I'm writing a script to continuously monitor the connection to the license server from a client machine (Linux).

I followed the instructions here https://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/answers/102830-is-there-a-way-for-licenses-to-be-monitored-from-the-client-machine-instead-of-the-server, made the required folders, and downloaded the Linux binaries, but inside it does not contain a lmstat executable.

Any help is appreciated.

Hey,

I understand that you have followed the steps to create the ‘etc’ folder after downloading the license manager binaries to monitor license, but are unable to find the ‘lmstat’ executable in that folder. An alternate approach would be to install the Network License Manager. Please follow the steps in the following link to install the Network License Manager:
