Is there a 64 bit version of Matlab 2015a available for download?

Dont't worry about the labeling of the button for downloading in the MathWorks homepage. If you are running the installing application you can choose if you get the 32 bit version, 64 bit version or both.

I tried it, and got the following message:
"You are about to install a 32-bit version of a MathWork product.
A 64-bit version is available on DVD and the downloads section of the
MathWorks Web site (mathworks.com/web_downloads)."
The version downloaded from that website gave exactly the same message,
i.e. it did not give access to a 64-bit version.
No idea what you've tried but I was on the web site mathworks.com/downloads and started the download. After extracting "matlab_R2015a_win32.exe" I clicked through the installer until the page "Install or Download". There I choosed "Download Only". After that I got the page "Folder and Platform Selection" with possible platforms
  • Windows (64-bit)
  • Windows (32-bit)
  • Max OS X (64-bit)
  • Linux (64-bit)
I can select all this different platforms and get all setups which are selected.
On the download page, after having selected R2015aSp1 , towards the upper middle in the area "I WANT TO" select "Get ISOs and DMGs"
Note: you might not be permitted to get an ISO if you are not the owner of your license.
Thank you, I got a 64-bit installer off an older PC and used that.
I noted that selecting "Get ISOs and DMGs" still left me with
the same 32-bit Windows option.
