But you confirmed a directory for installation, didn't you ?
If you cannot remember, repeat the installation up to the point where an installation directory is suggested.

Hello Masoumeh,
I comprehend that you've succesfully installaed MATLAB on your Linux system and are looking to determine the installation directory. Typically, if not altered during the setup process, MATLAB is installed at "/usr/local/MATLAB/R20xxa/R20xxb".
However, if you've chosen a different location during installation, you can locate it through a couple of methods:
- Launch MATLAB and enter "matlabroot" in the Command Window. This will display the MATLAB installation path.
- Alternatively, you can find the installation path detailed in the MATLAB installation log file, which can be found at /tmp/mathworks_<yourUserName>.log.
I trust this information addresses your question.
Best regards,
Vinayak Luha

I am in a similar situation. I downloaded the app, installed it, selected the directory (/usr/local/...), and then chose the products and options. I downloaded everything, and it said that it had installed successfully, but I see no app nor can I call it through the terminal. The folder I chose as the directory has been filled with files and other items, but the app hasn't appeared anywhere.
How can i run something that isn't there?
am i maybe missing a step?
