How do I run a Bluetooth command using OpenGoProMatlab?

I am trying to work with the GoProMatlab addon, and I am getting an error when trying to run any Bluetooth command with the function "GoProBluetooth": "Operation failed because authentication was insufficient. Try pairing device and recreate ble object." This is using my Hero 10 Black GoPro Camera. What could be causing this issue and how can I go about fixing it?
