Why do I receive "To use the software again, Renew Software Maintenance Service" message, since I have academic license?

Even though I use MATLAB academic license and can update it annually with my university account, I receive the following error in my last update.

Expired license

To use the software again, Renew Software Maintenance Service.

What is the reason and can you help?

Im having the same trouble, as a university student with a university email, I think I should have unlimited access for Matlab.

Did you see the answer below? If that doesn't work, call the Mathworks and maybe they can help you find the name of the person at your university that you need to talk to.
