Please check if the student(s) seeing the instructor view for a course is listed as a instructor for prior or current courses. Roles pertaining to a instructor for a course can be an instructor, teaching assistant, dialogue leader, etc.
If the student(s) is listed as a instructor for prior or current courses, they either need to remove the extra contexts (if they happened in the past and are no longer needed) or contact the Learning Management System (LMS) admin remove any default roles. LMS may have assigned the student(s) with a default role of instructor/teacher instead of learner/student.
If the student(s) is not listed as a "teacher" for prior or current courses or this issue persists after following the steps above, please contact Technical Support:
When contacting Technical Support, please include the name(s) and email address(s) of the student(s) or instructor who are affected by this issue.
