Hi,
I am trying to generate a Solid Oxide Fuel Cell model in Matlab Simulink (I am using R2020b version). However, I can not find the SOFC model properties (please refer to the picture attached) in my version. May I know if I need have another add-on package or something else?
If you have any links that can direct me onto building a SOFC simulink, that would be very much appreciated. :)
Thank you very much. :D

Hi Ke,
You are almost on the right track to model a Solid Oxide Fuel Cell. The SOFC models are not directly included as pre-built blocks within the standard Simulink libraries. The Fuel Cell (https://in.mathworks.com/help/sps/ref/fuelcell.html) block in Simscape technology focuses mainly on the electrical behaviour of a fuel cell system. With proper parameterization, it can be used as a low-fidelity SOFC.
The Fuel Cell Stack (https://in.mathworks.com/help/sps/powersys/ref/fuelcellstack.html) block in Specialized Power Systems technology has SOFC parameterizations for 3 kW - 100 Vdc and 25 kW - 630 Vdc. If you wish to not use these preset models, you may choose 'User-Defined' option in the preset model tab under parameters - https://in.mathworks.com/help/sps/powersys/ref/fuelcellstack.html#br599s1-6
This is a link to an example which shows a model of SOFC - https://in.mathworks.com/help/sps/ug/solid-oxide-fuel-cell-connected-to-three-phase-electrical-power-system.html
