Can MWApplication provide runtime version information

I have a Spring Boot application that links a compiler SDK servlet. I would like to be able to get something equivalent to running

matlab -batch ver

Ideally, this would be something provided by MWApplication, rather than requiring me to instantiate my servlet just to get the runtime environment. The idea is to have the information displayed in /actuator/info, possibly /actuator/health.
