Simulink & GUI Table data type support?

I might be starting soon on a project what has a lot of tabular, spreadsheet-type data. I suppose I could import and export spreadsheets, but I was thinking that it might be cleaner and easier to use the new native Table data type. I started looking into this, and I am a bit surprised not to find any Simulink blocks with native Table data type support. Am I missing something? Same question with the GUI for human interface of Table data; I want to develop something that is easy to use for engineers more comfortable with spreadsheets than Simulink, but just as easy to manage and simulate this type of data.
