Session based interface - analog input - digital output

I would like to continuously monitor an analog input channel and create a breif pulse (with minimum delay) on the digital output channel any time it passes a certain threshold. I know how to add digital and output channels to my session but I have difficulty in setting this up to run continuously and have milisecond delay.

Could anyone help in this regard?
