How Can i add the custom made (user created) toolbox to the matlab?

I have toolbox folder named 'wafo'. How can i use this folder as toolbox in the MATLAB? I wish to link the folder to the toolbox to appear on startup menu of matlab. I should be able use the same 'wafo' folder as toolbox even after restarting the MATLAB program. Its my personal computer and i am only the user.

Can anyone help me? Thank you in Advance.

I do not know how to put it in the menu. For the rest: use pathtool to add the directory to your MATLAB path.

Hey Walter, Thanks, but fromt this method i can only add the 'wafo' folder and use it for current running of MATLAB. When i shutdown and opens the MATLAB, i cannot use the same folder as toolbox. I wish to use this folder as toolbox like pre-installed toolbox(ex:signal processing toolbox) how can i do that?

At the bottom of pathtool there is a Save button. If you click on that then the path will be saved in pathdef.m in the folder listed first in userpath() . That directory and file must be writable for the change to be saved. The pathdef function will be executed automatically at startup.

how I can add the wafo toolbox in matlab 2021b. I have saved the wafo toobox in toolbox folder of matlab and added to the path. But it is not working for me. Please suggest me regrading same.
