How I can convert digital signal back to analog?...

I have been able to do sampling and quantization but i would like to convert it back to analog.

I used zero-Order Hold (ZOH) with sample rate of 1/1400 sec... and have used quantiser after ZOH for discrete purpose.

What kind of continuous signal are you sampling?

I am just using current and voltage for (sine wave signals as input). I then used a low pass filter as anti-aliasing filter with cut-off frequency at 400Hz.

It sounds to me as if you do not have an analog to digital signal to start with, that instead you have a continuous time signal that you sampled to create a discrete time signal.

If so then is the question how to convert it back to a continuous time signal? Or is the question how to connect the discrete time signal to a Digital to Analog output device such as a signal generator or National Instruments digital to analog USB-6001 or perhaps an Arduino Motor Shield.

thanks for correction...Yes I do have a continuous time signal which i converted to discrete time signal. my question then is as you stated it...how do I convert it back to a continuous time signal?

i am currently working in simulink. My task is to sample the continuous sine wave in discrete mode then encode it into the series of binary bits and recover back the sine wave in the continuous form.

How can i encode the sampled sine wave in the sequence of binary bits in simulink?

please help.

All that I find at the moment is http://www.mathworks.com/help/control/ref/d2c.html which is for linear time invariant systems according to http://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/newsreader/view_thread/336093 which says there is no general tool for other systems.
