extrapolate data

Dear all,

I have a lot of data in a file..i need to extrapolate the data but the data is nonuniform ..i just want to extrapolate the data to area which non data and still want to keep the original data..so, i plan to use krigging method but the program need to set the resolution (spacing)..can we blank the information? or you alll have any suggestion or method..Thanks

Have you seen TriScatteredInterp() or roifill()? (TriScatteredInterp is in base MATLAB.) (roifill is in the Image Processing Toolbox)
