how to acquire data from a camera through a parallelport on a (64 bit Matlab platform) which includes session based interface?

I am working on a project that involves acquiring images from RG&G reticon line scan camera through parallel port.Since it is a 64 bit matlab platform it does not support this command. DIO = digitalio('parallel','LPT1'); can someone please help me with this?

Please be more specific about the model. In particular there are analog and digital versions of that series.

EG&G Reticon became PerkinElmer and that line of cameras does not appear to have continued, so it is not as easy to find information about the devices.
