How can I use xlswrite in a nested forloop without overwriting?

HOw is i possible? I am using an algorithmn that is supposed to plot 713 bits of data into an excel data shee. Each time it overwrites. How can I do it so it doesn't overwrite? I am also using a nested for loop

Keep track of what row you want and set it in the arg list
for k = 1 : 3
cellReference = sprintf('A%d', k); % or whatever...
xlswrite(xlFileName, data, cellReference);
end
