Generate a space-filling design over irregular domain in Matlab

Hi, I want to ask how to generate a space-filling design in Matlab? If there are any ready-to-use functions or algorithms available? In particular, the multi-dimensional input domain is not a hypercube, so lhsdesign is not okay I guess... For example, the Maximin-distance design.. I found some papers - but most about the definition and properties - I have found little about how to generate such a design, in particular on a finite set of candidates... Could anyone help me with this problem? Many thanks!
