Within imtool, how can I programmatically zoom to a point in such a way that the %zoom drop-down box is updated and normal zoom functionality (icons) still work? Can I manually call the imtool zoom callback function?

Within imtool, how can I programatically zoom to a point? I have tried CameraTarget, CameraPosition, xlim, zoom, but once set I am having trouble zooming back to the original full image using the imtool zoom icons.

Hello,

imtool set the axes Position property to pan and zoom. This is different than the other ways of zooming in MATLAB with the axes limits (XLim, YLim or ZLim) or any of the camera properties and so when you mix them, you get strange results.
