method of inverse

(1) i want to know that which inverse method is used in MATLAB to find out inverse of a matrix?

(2) how can i get the MATLAB source code for inv() function ?

The source code for inv() is not written in MATLAB.

To get MathWorks' source code for inv(), you need to get a job with MathWorks, or at least become an intern for them.

Or, as I am fond of pointing out, a non-refundable deposit of $US 5 million usually gets someone to the table to discuss the price for allowing you to see the source for one routine.
