Rasperry Pi Matlab support package I/O peripheral problem

I am able to make direct connection with raspberry pi through ethernet but i am not able to access Serial ports or I2C/SPI ports. Moreover, my USB webcam powers up when connected to Raspberry Pi and is detected by Matlab but when i take a snapshot, it gives an error of receiving data from remote server. I am using Matlab 2016a and Raspberry pi 2 model B. I am just able to perform simple applications from GPIO pins.
