How to create a parameter space without using sdo.ParameterSpace?

I have a problem of optimization which involves uncertainty. I want to create a parameter space for two variable so that i can generate random samples. For this, is there any method which does not involve the use of sdo.ParameterSpace function? I don't have access to simulink design optimization toolbox.
