how to write a program that will open directories inside of a larger directory and execute a script inside each?

I have a large data set to work with and I am hoping to write a code that will automate the process of changing directories. The directory which contains the subdirectories with the data files is

 Users>user>LaserStripping>2016_05_03>LaserStripping-05-03

Inside of the LaserStripping-05-03 directory are ~1000 other directories which contain the data I need to process. So once I am in the directory

 Users>user>LaserStripping>2016_05_03>LaserStripping-05-03>2016.05.02_20:34:08

for example, I can then execute my script from the command line. My question is, how do I write a code that will go into a directory, execute a script, go back up one directory, and then repeat for the next sub-directory down the line?
