error in compression

I have 8o image,i have performed ebcot compression ,for low pass,high pass,vertical and diagonal,for low pass my images are compressed but for others my images size is more than th eoriginal size
for 80 images after compression
original image =189kb
lowpass=131kb
highpass=208kb
vertical=195kb
diagonal=22bkb
please help,why i get these larger sizes
