find delay between two curves

Hi there,

I need to find the delay of two curves. These two curves are very similar (see attached). I thought the matlabe finddelay function should work But the function always give a zero delay between the two curves. What is wrong? I also tried the xcorr function to find the delay, it also gives a zero delay? Any thought? Thanks, George

It is because your graph is not shifted but it has a different scale with respect to the independent variable, thats why you find no delay and an xcorr of zero.
