how can i convert images in 14-bit to 16-bit obtained from thermal camera

Hello everyone, My problem is to play a movie from a professional thermal camera using matlab to process images behind. The problem is that the images are coded on 16-bit in the camera and when I use my extraction functions I lose resolution ie my images will be coded only on 14 bits. I think that all comes from my extraction files (see attached). someone can help me please?

When you use the file info routine, what shows up for the special scale and scale unit outputs?

I speculate, looking at the code, that specialscale is non-zero, which triggers rescaling of the data in the sLoadCedip routine
