Running paraview from a matlab script.

Hi, I wonder if there is a way to run paraview from a matlab script.I want matlab to do following things in paraview. 1 : Open a file or more in paraview 2 : Do some operations like calculating velocity fields and stream tracers 3 : Save the results
Hope my question is clear
