How to create a virtual serial port using MATLAB only that would eliminate the use of softwares like HW VSP and Eltima

As of now, I use HW to create a COMPORT and then use the standard procedures for reading and writing data to it. However, things would be easier if I could establish this comport within MATLAB and not with an additional software. I have searched the entire net with more than 50 different keywords but cannot find a solution to this problem. I am not even sure if MATLAB has the capability to do it. But if anyone has any suggestions/clues in this direction, kindly post them.
