Further decompose: min(a, b-c)!! and simulation in MatLab

For any positive values of a, b, c, and b>c, is it possible to further decompose
min (a, b-c) to any of the form e.g.,
min(a,c)-min(b,c) or min(a,b)-min(a,c) or any form like this.
