I have a 1x34 cell name low and within each cell there is a 1079x1 cell. I would like to grab a number from cell 2 of 1x34 and row 100 of the 1079x1 cell. I would have done low{1,2(100)}. But this seems to not work. I've tried low{1,2,100} as well. I'm not sure what to do. Further, I would like to manipulate and pull out sections of the cell such as from row 100-1000 lets say. How to do this?

In general, you need to index into the cell for accessing the data as follows : low{1,i}{i,1}
For the particular question that you asked : low{1,2}{100,1}
Let me know if you have any questions.
