Adding String to Table in App Designer

I try to add a string array into a table in a simple MATLAB app and all it shows is the NaN text in cells. Do App Designer tables only accept numerical arrays or am I doing something wrong here?

Hi David, thanks for the comment. I don't mind sharing the file but the text part of my data is a column-type string array containing dates. More or less something like this: '11.12.2016' '12.12.2016' '17.12.2016' ... and so on. I have three numerical columns that I can add to the table without a problem, but the 4th column should be this array and it is here where I get the error. Saeid

when i want to add numeric value in my table, there is no statrtupFcn (app) function, and when i add this function (manually), this numbers don't appeard in table.
