hi ..is there a book where i can learn basic MATLAB from? which also has problems to solve and alot of exercises? the slides i study from don't have any exercises and i want to make sure i have each concept fully understood.

Hi, there are tons of books outside, but what I am going to suggest is Coursera! This webpage will allow you to enroll in one of its free or non-free courses. It's like a classroom with a professor and students, homeworks and etc. You need to pass those homework to pass the class. Here is the link
