How to install the Signal Processing Toolbox license in R2016b MATLAB?

Originally I don't have the Signal Processing Toolbox, however, after the IT department adding the license of Signal Processing Toolbox, I still cannot use it. In addition to updating license from HELP tab, are there any additional steps I have to do?

There is the possibility that your license is being retrieved from somewhere that was not updated. See https://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/answers/99147-where-are-the-license-files-for-matlab-located and the LM_LICENSE environment variable.

If you are using a license server so your license is managed by your IT people on a remote system, then they might need to restart the license server.

Hi, thank you for the response. it is an individual license in my linux system. I update the license from HELP tab, I also checked the .matlab directory, the license_xxx.lic file is the same as the license.lic file I download from online. However, I still cannot run. Do I need to anything else?

I suggest you go through the installer and tell it to install any of the toolboxes that you are authorized for (take the smallest for example) in order to force it to go through to the authorization sequence. That should trigger downloading your current license into where-ever it is looking for the license.
