Can anyone help me,how do i put a 10% tolerance around this plot? how should i do it?

Here is the image below attached:
It shows a plot where i have fitted the curve around it. Now i want a 10% tolerance around the same curve i.e. a same type of a curve which will give me 10% of boundary around it.
is it possible? can anyone help?

Thanx for this :) i went through it, it is used for geographical locations,for plotting lat and lon, anyway of using the same bufferm function over polar plots?
geoshow is for geographical locations
how do i do it on polar?
