How to compute Averaged Normalized Modified Retrieval Rank(ANMRR) in CBIR

Dear all, i want to compute Averaged Normalized Modified Retrieval Rank(ANMRR) which is used for measuring retrieval accuracy of the CBIR system. The ANMRR is defined in the following attached two papers. Actually, i did not understand exactly what they have explained. Can anyone help me to solve the issue?
