why when I save an image in eps, matlab saves it in epstmp?

When I try to manually save a figure in eps format, I get this error: Error using href="matlab:helpUtils.error.DcoCalback('print>LocalPrint',\matlab\graphics\print.m',295)" style="font-weigth:bold">print>localPrint</a(<a href="matlab.opentoline">)
If I save manually a file with extension .epstmp is generated which if I change the extension to eps, that image is readable. But changing the extension for every image is so boring. Help me plz.
