Reading a value on a 3d plot, as the cursor is moving

Hello,

Using "surf" I was able to make a 3d plot of x,y,z. Now I want to know how to read the z value corresponding to the (x,y) position when I bring the cursor. Please let me know.

In the figure, click on the sort of plus sign to the left of the paint brush.

To turn on the feature by way of your program, use datacursormode()
