You need to detect the presence of buildings? Or you need to detect changes between pictures that indicate that there have been modifications to a building ?

If you need to detect the presence of buildings, then are you working with pictures of downtown Winnipeg, or are you working with pictures of yurts in the steppes of Mongolia, or are you working with infrared images of countryside trying to find hidden Cylon factories, or ... ?
