export: Command not found.

Hi All,

Here is the output at my terminal:

bash-3.2$ echo $SHELL

/bin/tcsh

Here is the output at my Matlab command prompt:

>> !echo $SHELL

export: Command not found.

if: Expression Syntax.

then: Command not found.

/bin/tcsh

The same happens for all other unix commands. Any idea what's going on here?
