convert the matrix to array based on index in one of the columns

Dear all, I would like to convert the matrix to an array (so to be able to apply array fun), based on the index in one of the columns (obtained after binning the data). Can someone please give me a tip how to do it, since I could not come up with reasonable input for neither mat2cell nor struct.. Thanks in advance, D
