You have posted the code of fullfile. On one hand this is not covered by the license conditions, see Answers: Post code of toolbox functions. On the other hand: you want to modify a histogram function (which one and how), so why do you post fullfile?
Better explain, what you want to change and what the problem is.

[EDITED out code of copyrighted FILEPARTS, Cedric]
For the modification: the histogram normalization in mkhist

Why do you keep posting the code of MATLAB (copyrighted) functions that are unrelated to histograms?
Read this about pasting a matlab copyrighted code. I'm guessing small easy codes like pathsep wouldn't be something to fight copyrights over, but longer ones like this would trigger some alarm...

@Gaëtan Poirier: Did you read my comment? If so, do not just ignore it. Posting the same unrelated and copy righted code again is a bad idea. Now the code of fullfile has been removed the 2nd time in this thread and you got 3 corresponding comments.
You have opened 3 threads concerning the same problem today. This confuses the readers.
@JanSimon, sorry for posting the copyrighted code; didn't think this was an issue. I just have to edit a line in the code for it to run. I'm new to this and really don't know how this stuff works.
Okay, Gaëtan. You've done it twice. So a general recommendation is to read and consider the comments of the forum users.
Feel free to create a copy of fullfile and modify it like you want. But I do not see a reason to post the code here, especially if you ask for a "histogram".
I intended on modifying the function y = mkhist, I might have provided the wrong code.
Don't you read your posting in the preview window before posting???
More to the point, you've yet to say anything at all useful about what you want to modify and why.
Furthermore, mkhist isn't a Matlab function so we've no klew as to what it might be...
