How do i change ePWM register in order to stop pulses in a Simulink Model building for TI f28xxx

In the follwoing link the answer seams to be given, but it is not clear how/why the register changes WHEN a variable or a condition changes in the model: change f28xxx registers in Simulink For example, I want to stop the pulses of epwm1 ONLY when real power output of my converter, calculated as a function of voltage and current measurements from the analog ports, exceeds a specific value (let's assume that all sum up to the result of a comparator in the model equal to 1 in this case). How is the code above called ONLY under this condition? Any help will be highly appreciated, Panagis
