I have NetCFD or nc files of u component of wind for a single year, Is there any way that i can merger nc files of 7 years into a single nc file???

What i do actually i convert nc files into xls.file than merge xsl.files but now i want nc files to merge into nc file. kindly help me to write code for it.... Thank You!

Hello Muhammad,

It should be possible to simply read in your NetCDF files with ncread, merge the data in the appropriate way using standard MATLAB datatypes, and then write it back out to a NetCDF file with ncwrite.

It really depends on what the data is. In the example for ncread, the "peaks" variable is int16 data. In the examples for ncwrite it shows creating files with variables containing double data. It really depends on how you want to collate your data and store it in the file.
